Day 3: Happy for Friends!

Today I'm happy and thankful for the amazing women I've been blessed with to be my co-workers. Today, one of my co-workers Lisa made us all a little tube of candies and put them in a cute little happy Easter holder. It was so precious and completely thoughtful and unexpected. It was mixed to be blessed to by someone today.

Day 2 of Happiness

Oh goodness... today was definitely a Monday of a full moon. Is it bad to say that the thing I'm happy about most is that today is almost over? I woke up in a less-then-happy mood because I woke up to snow. It's April Mother Nature- it's spring! No more snow. Pleeeease. Plus the snowplow hit our mailbox and the box part was laying in the ditch. And on the way to work, Bradley's windshield wipers stopped working... we leave for vacation on Friday... we're driving his car...

Enough with the crabby Monday blues though! I'm most happy and thankful today for evening spent with Bradley. Tonight we watched "Dancing With The Stars." All the songs were Disney songs, and we're both going through some "Disney blues" right now. I'm happy that I have a wonderful husband, who can always make me laugh, regardless of the crappy day we had. And the cherry on my life is my two wonderful puppies, who are snuggling on the couch and snoring away.

100 Days Of Happy

There's a new photo challenge going on on Instagram, "can you be happy for 100 days?". The challenge is to take a picture everyday of something that made you happy. I love this idea! Life is so busy and with so much running around. I'm going to make it my goal to post daily one thing I'm thankful- now I don't plan on taking pictures everyday, but I do plan to be aware of things that are making me happy each day, even the little things.

So here it goes... Day 1 of being happy!

Today I'm thankful for rainy lazy Sundays.  Lazy days being spent cuddling with my dogs and my wonderful Bradley. We started to pack for our trip to North Carolina- so many things to bring when you're renting a house ((& not staying in a hotel)).

Here's to a short week and spring break right around the corner!

Spring is beginning to "spring"

It's finally here... the moment that we've been waiting for since December... the snow has melted, the birds are coming back, and signs of spring are starting to appear! This winter in Wisconsin has been miserable... we've set the record for the number of consecutive days below 0... but FINALLY! It looks like winter will be ending, and spring will be coming soon.

In honor of an entire week of temperatures in the 50's, we had the windows open & played outside with the dogs. The dogs have been anxiously awaiting ball time outside!


So here's to you Spring... I'm glad you decided to show your face finally! I hope you stick around!
