October Happenings.

October! In Wisconsin that means a mixture of 90* weather and 40* weather in a matter of days.

+October meant lots of family together time! we had dinner with Paul & Judy and dinners with my family.

+Brad's cousin got married so we took a weekend trip to Madison. We went to the Disney store and went swimming with the kids. Jedidiah went swimming for the first time and he loved it! We spent time with Paul & Judy, and Matt & Nicole, and Quinnley. Amelia loves her little cousin Quinnley. Amelia was a dancing machine at the wedding.

+ We went pumpkin picking with Paul & Judy, Matt & Nicole & Quinnley also. We rode the hayride, got our pumpkins and then Amelia did the water duck races, the corn maze and played on the hay bale slides. It was a hot day but our porch looked so cute with all of our pumpkins and gourds!

+Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I tend to celebrate it tons! We took the kids to the Milwaukee zoo for trick-or-treating with my parents and Paul & Judy. It was a gorgeous fall day! And then kids were so cute in their costumes. Amelia was a cowgirl and a Jedidiah was Woody from Toy Story. We love getting to go to the zoo together; such a fun family trip.

+We had a museum date with my mom's cousin and her grandson. Bryce is the same age as Amelia so they enjoy spending time together. Courtney and Chelsey were also able to join us. It was Halloween at the museum so the kids wore their costumes and we enjoyed a fun day together.

+Amelia had a birthday party for my friend Kelly's little girl! It was a fun birthday party. Amelia enjoyed eating cake, pizza and doing arts & crafts.

+October ended with Halloween! We went Trick or treating at Paul & Judy's house. We always stop their with the kids in their costumes for pictures and cookies. Amelia was Snow White and Jedidiah was an elephant. We then Trick or Treating with my parents and Chelsey & Todd. We stopped at Matt & Nicole's to visit Quinnley for her first Halloween. On Halloween Barb came Trick or Treating in our neighborhood with us.

The next couple months are busy with family gatherings, weddings, holidays and birthdays. Here's to remaining fall time.
